International Day of the Biological Diversity
On May 22 was proclamed by General Assembly of the United Nations as the International Day of the Biological Diversity. The date was chosen in order that it was coinciding with the anniversary of the approval of the agreement about Biological Diversity celebrated in 1992.
People can put in danger this diversity by means of the accomplishment of irresponsible acts with the nature. For this reason, one of the basic aims of this day is of implying to the society in the sustainable use of the resources that they find in the natural environment to preserve the existing balance in the ecosystems and to guarantee the relations that are established between them.
From Chatarras Hernández, we want to call on the society in order that it is envolved in a correct utilization of the available resources and to promote the recycling as way of guaranteeing the biodiversity.
